Hong Min Gi’s Agency Fable Company Breaks Silence on Ex’s Allegations, Cites Stalking and False Claims

Fable Company has released an official response after influencer “A” publicly shared a certification of contents and additional social media posts accusing actor Hong Min Gi (Study Group, To My Beloved Thief) of assault, privacy invasion, disparaging remarks about colleagues and fans, pet abuse, and unwanted contact after their breakup.
The agency opened by apologizing for the public concern the situation has caused. It explained that because the matter began as a private relationship, Hong and the company deliberately avoided public comments or legal steps in hopes of an amicable resolution. That approach changed on August 19 when “A” posted the formal notice along with further accusations that the agency says diverge significantly from the facts it has verified. Those posts spread rapidly across media and online communities, prompting the statement to correct the record and limit further damage.
According to Fable, the two began dating around April 2026. During the relationship Hong learned that “A” had maintained contact with a former boyfriend and had met another man. “A” later acknowledged this in a letter and private messages, apologizing multiple times and stating she understood she had no right to approach him given the hurt caused. Hong concluded the breach of trust was irreversible and made clear he would not continue the relationship.
Despite that, the agency says “A” repeatedly sought reconciliation, visited Hong’s home and his family’s residence, and continued unwanted contact. The statement details an incident that began around 1 a.m. on August 19: “A” allegedly went to Hong’s residence, rang the doorbell and knocked until 4 a.m., covered the entrance CCTV camera with a sticker, and kicked the front door—actions the agency says are documented on secured footage.
Fable further claims “A” leveraged Hong’s public image by threatening to release false information, repeatedly saying variations of “It’s true or not, I’m just going to sue you,” “You have a lot to lose,” and “Once it goes to trial, there’s nothing you can do.” When meetings were refused, “A” sent the certification of contents containing what the agency describes as inaccurate claims and then published additional posts alleging pet abuse and deception of fans.
The company states it will pursue all available legal avenues. It intends to address the repeated unwanted approaches under anti-stalking laws and to take civil and criminal action, including defamation claims, over the public dissemination of information it considers false. Fable asked the public to avoid unverified speculation and the further spread of disputed details while the facts are established through evidence and proper procedures.
The statement prioritizes documented evidence—CCTV, messages, and the timeline of contact—over public narrative, framing the dispute as one that moved from a private breakup into repeated boundary-crossing behavior and reputational harm.
